I haven’t tried acupuncture before and am not sure what to expect. I’ve mostly worked with my regular doctors and medical team and am uncertain about venturing into this territory. Who do you recommend?

Christine and Nicole have both worked in many western medical settings and provide an excellent bridge to Chinese medicine for those who feel unfamiliar or uncertain. They have solid foundations in Chinese medicine and provide grounding and centering care during your treatment.

I’m ready for deep, emotional healing to match the physical work that we’ll be doing. Who should I see?

Both Sarah and Lisa specialize in emotional wellness, mindfulness and healing from trauma. They love that Chinese medicine explores the intricate links between the physical, mental and emotional and think the treatment room is a sacred space for such healing.

I’m anxious about needles and trying acupuncture. Who do you suggest I see?

Each of our practitioners has a very gentle touch and will stay in communication with you to make sure you feel comfortable and safe during your treatment. Christine and Nicole are especially versed in caring for patients who are nervous about trying something new and would like someone to ease their way through the treatment.

I’m trying to become pregnant. Do any of your practitioners specialize in fertility?

All of our practitioners have experience helping women become pregnant, whether on their own or with Assisted Reproductive Techniques. Sarah, Nicole & Lisa do the most work with fertility. They are passionate about aiding women’s physical and emotional healing, empowering women with knowledge about their fertility and menstrual cycles, and getting to the root of the issue to help them conceive.

I am undergoing treatment for cancer. Who should I see?

Christine has extensive training and experience supporting patients who are undergoing cancer treatment. Chinese medicine is a wonderful ally to strengthen your body and spirit and ease uncomfortable symptoms during treatment for cancer.t

Can I receive an herbal consult as part of my acupuncture treatment?

Yes! Your herbal consult is included in your acupuncture appointment. The cost of herbs is additional, generally about $12-$20 for a week’s supply. Lisa and Nicole are the most experienced with herbal medicine.
