Dr. Grace C. Kim is a licensed acupuncturist and Doctor of Korean Medicine(or Korean Medicine Doctor) with over a decade of experience in both Eastern and Western integrative medicine. She believes in the body’s interconnectedness, where organs influence one another and the mind and body are inseparable. True healing begins with compassion and a deep understanding of each individual’s unique story and imbalances.
Dr. Grace earned her Doctorate of Korean Medicine after completing a rigorous six-year Korean medical school in South Korea. She pursued further specialization through a competitive four-year residency in Internal Medicine with emphasis on Neurology, caring for patients with strokes, cardiovascular conditions, and neurological disorders.
She has served diverse patient populations in both private clinics and integrative medical settings, with a focus on internal medicine, women’s health, and pain management through her work at multiple private clinics across Seoul.
Now based in Charleston, SC, she volunteers with MUSC’s palliative care team, providing inpatient acupuncture for pain, anxiety, and sleep disorders. She resides in Summerville with her husband and is an active member of Great Commission Baptist Church. In her free time, she enjoys yoga, walking local trails and hiking, finding balance and bringing that sense of mindfulness into her work.
