Golden Broth

A delicious recipe from Nutritional Therapy Practitioner Hillary Sabbato - warms up your digestive system, increases circulation and decreases inflammation!

12 oz chicken bone broth (my favorite is from local company Abundant Broth Co.)

2 tbsp coconut cream or milk (can substitute nut milk or whole cow’s milk)

½ tsp vanilla

½ tsp honey (my favorite is local, raw honey from Queen & Comb Honey)

¼ tsp turmeric

¼ tsp cinnamon

¼ tsp nutmeg

1 dash of black pepper

1.     Heat your broth to a simmer.

2.     Add all remaining ingredients to the broth.

3.     Transfer mixture to a heat-safe blender and blend for 30 seconds. (You can also use a frother or immersion blender for this step.)

4.     Pour into your favorite mug and enjoy this delicious, anti-inflammatory elixir.  Try it in place of your morning coffee or tea!  It will be filling, so it can be consumed as a snack or meal.
